Membership is presently around 250. We are keen to raise this number so please contact us if you want to join this important organisation and to link with its work for the past, present and future of our village.
Members get access to all our events and visits.
Members can use the Society to add strength to their concerns about planning and other local issues.
Membership includes access to :-
- our very large archive of photographs and postcards
- our range of historical items that have been recorded electronically
- our collection of books and documents of local interest
A Local History Group operates within the Society and we welcome members who would like to participate in the activities of this group.
